What is a Lapeta Pipe
A lay-flat pipe is a flexible hose that lies flat when empty and expands to full bore under pressure — giving you portable, roll-and-go irrigation without rigid pipe logistics.
Saurabh Shaktiman Lapeta pipes are made from UV-stabilised LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) — light enough to carry on one shoulder, flexible enough to lay over uneven terrain, and durable enough for season-after-season field use.

Portable Sub-Main
Used as a temporary sub-main in drip and sprinkler systems — runs from the main valve to the lateral take-off points. Easy to shift when irrigation zones change.
Water Conveyance from Pump
Carries water from a portable pump or motor at the source (canal, pond, borewell) to the field margin — lighter and faster to deploy than rigid PVC.
Furrow Irrigation
Laid along furrow rows, lapeta delivers water at low pressure by gravity into individual furrows — a step up from open-channel conveyance.
Garden & Nursery Irrigation

How to Use
Deployed in six steps.
No special tools, no solvent cement, no trenching. Lapeta is the fastest pipe system to deploy and retrieve in Indian agriculture.
Position the Roll at the Source
Place the lapeta roll near the pump outlet or water connection point. No special tools needed.
Connect to Pump or Main
Use a lapeta end-cap connector or clamp fitting to connect the open end to your pump outlet or main pipe outlet valve.
Unroll Across the Field
Walk the field unrolling the lapeta in the direction of irrigation — it lies flat without creasing. No trench needed.
Connect Outlets / Take-offs
Punch take-off points or connect pre-punched grommet outlets at your drip lateral or sprinkler riser positions.
Open the Flow
Open the source valve — lapeta inflates immediately to full bore and flow begins.
Drain and Roll for Storage
After irrigation, close the valve. Walk back along the pipe to drain it flat, then roll it up for compact storage.
